LAC Donald Millington

The material on this page has been kindly supplied by Jeremy Millington, the son of LAC Donald Millington.   He writes:

 - just stumbled across your father's web site whilst researching my father's (Donald Millington) time in 70 Squadron during the war.   He was in the electrical section of groundcrew.   His rank was also LAC.  I have the same picture of a convoy travelling through palm trees as in your collection & also the Xmas menu from 1943 along with a box of pictures including Churchill's visit, the Squadron mascot, Peter & various group photos etc.   After initial training at RAF Padgate he travelled on RMS Mooltan to Durban, then to various landing grounds in Africa & then to Foggia,Italy.
